About the role
- Lead the implementation and operation of our cloud-based data platforms
- Work with enterprise programs, such as Power BI and Qualtrics, which are essential to key Pre-Service functions
- Manage data projects toward completion with regional TFA leaders
- Create and implement strategy for Corps Member and staff member support with data systems
- Be responsible for consulting, conducting data analysis, and creating strategy to progress the organization to pre-service outcomes
- Own specific set of regions to support and work with data team to manage Pre-Service data systems
- Build understanding of Pre-Service program and role of data in supporting its success
- Build technical knowledge and skills around data systems to ensure successful set-up and execution
- Build relationships with Pre-Service teams and establish teams’ data culture
- Test and finalize setup of summer data systems
- Engage in training experiences with manager and team
- Ensure all data collection, analysis, reporting, synthesis, communication, and use requirements are met
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience utilizing technology for data collection, analysis, and reporting (e.g., Excel, Google Applications, etc.) required
- Experience working with web-based systems and/or software required
- Experience managing others, both directly and indirectly, to bring projects to completion
- Ability to adjust strategy and provide support where needed to meet priority objectives
- A passion for, comfort with, and significant experience with data (both qualitative and quantitative) and technology that supports data systems, analysis, and use
- Excellent problem-solving skills, especially amid ambiguity and systems challenges
- Self-starter with a strong ability to seek out resources and learn technical skills independently
- A keen interest in how people perceive, experience, and make meaning of specific data and an ability to support their ability to utilize data to further their work, managing towards and achieving outcomes
- Excellent communication skills, with a strong ability to make complex information digestible and easy to follow
- Adeptness with Zoom and other virtual platforms
- Ability to work occasional weekend or evening work hours required for Spring Training
- Experience with student information systems (SIS) or other educational data management software (preferred qualification)
