Gather information from the business to support U.S. Government authorization (i.e., BIS license, DSP-license, Agreement, ATF permit, exception, exemption).
Draft, review, and manage export/import license applications. For instance, support documentation and oversight related to ATF regulations, including Form 6 applications and U.S. import of items subject to the USMIL.
Determine and document the use of applicable license exemptions and exceptions (e.g., 22 CFR §123.4, 15 CFR 740 (i.e., TMP, RPL, STA, etc.)).
Review and release orders (i.e., Delivery Order, etc.) on export hold.
Conduct Restricted Party Screening to support site visitor requests.
Support import compliance activities (i.e., section 232, Census Warnings, Assist), including documentation review and broker coordination, locating business point of contact to resolve import inquiries.
Assist with license condition tracking, periodic audits, and authorization recordkeeping.
Partner cross-functionally with customer service, engineering, logistics, procurement, and program teams, and GTS Operations Service Centers.
Requirements
Minimum of 8 years of U.S. trade compliance experience, preferably in aerospace, defense, or a regulated manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of ITAR (22 CFR), EAR (15 CFR), U.S. Customs (19 CFR), and ATF (27 CFR).
