About the role

Planning, coordinating and operational execution of all testing activities in an agile project environment (iOS & Android apps)
Developing, maintaining and executing automated tests based on Appium, Xray, Sauce Labs and comparable frameworks
Creating and maintaining test strategies, plans and test cases for functional, integration and regression testing
Implementing automated test runs in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo, Azure DevOps)
Executing and evaluating load and interface/API tests (e.g., with Postman, JMeter)
Analyzing and documenting test results, creating defect tickets and tracking them through to resolution
Ensuring test coverage and quality by defining appropriate metrics and test reports
Working closely with development, UX/UI and product teams to ensure early quality assurance
Coordinating with project management and business units on test strategies, tool selection and risk assessments
Presenting test results to the project team and contributing to the continuous improvement of test processes.

5+ years of experience as a Test Manager
At least 1 year of experience documenting business requirements and technical solutions in development approaches such as Clean Code and Test-Driven Development
Confident handling of unit tests
At least 2 years of experience with agile development (Scrum or Kanban) using JIRA and Confluence
Experience with standard test frameworks for (automated) testing of native mobile applications (e.g., Xray plugin for Jira, Sauce Labs)
At least 3 years of professional experience as a tester, test manager or in test automation
Certification such as ISTQB Tester
Desirable experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins or Bamboo)
Experience performing accessibility testing
Experience performing load testing, especially with JMeter
Experience conducting interface/API tests (e.g., Postman)
Experience in the German statutory health insurance (GKV) environment
Experience with security-compliant development (e.g., according to BSI-TR-03107 & BSI-TR-03161)
Experience in projects with data protection requirements under eIDAS
Substantial/strong experience documenting according to standards such as arc42.
