Key responsibilities & impact
  • Leads and develops a team of audit professionals and is responsible for overseeing, planning and executing audits and / or projects of varying complexity
  • Provides guidance, leadership, coaching and development to ensure operational results and professional / personal development objectives are achieved for the overall group
  • Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, and managing employee performance
  • Oversees and leads a diverse audit team for an area of significant risk, complexity or scope
  • Acts as a strategic advisor to leadership team on the management of the portfolio and financials
  • Facilitates key strategic audit discussions and provides thought leadership to executives
  • Focuses on long term planning for functional area

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Extensive internal or external audit experience, with a strong foundation in audit methodology
  • Proven ability to lead and manage end-to-end audits, including planning, execution, reporting, and issue validation
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple audits simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience leading audit teams and driving audit engagements to completion
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across business and technology partners
  • Experience identifying, assessing, and reporting control and operational risks
  • Knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGCs) is preferred
  • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) certification is preferred
