About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle bodily injury tort claims in Alberta
- Investigate claims regarding liability, injuries, and accident-related damages
- Maintain adequate case reserves by adhering to BI reserving protocol
- Communicate with clients, third-party claimants, and other involved parties
- Build trust and business relationships with Plaintiff Counsel and Defence Counsel
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 2-3 years of Insurance adjusting experience
- Strong understanding of the insurance industry and the related legal environment
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Effective analytical skills and detail-oriented
- Strong negotiation skills
- Preference for those actively pursuing CIP designation or relevant continuing education
