About the role

  • Conducting in-depth industry and financial analysis of existing and potential borrowers
  • Responsible for financial analysis of moderately complex loans/industries/Customers
  • Works independently under guidance of lead staff
  • Researching industry specific information from various sources
  • Participating in Customer meetings and making direct inquiries for specific information
  • Integral part of loan origination process and underwriting analysis
  • Preparing approval memorandums for presentation to lending and credit authorities
  • Analyzing financial statements, management profiles, cash flow ability, etc.
  • Maintaining credit files and monitoring data such as updated financial statements

Requirements

  • 4 year degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years related experience required
  • Developed knowledge of credit and financial analysis techniques
  • Ability to gather, consolidate, analyze and summarize data
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Developed PC skills including demonstrated proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software
