About the role
- Conducting in-depth industry and financial analysis of existing and potential borrowers
- Responsible for financial analysis of moderately complex loans/industries/Customers
- Works independently under guidance of lead staff
- Researching industry specific information from various sources
- Participating in Customer meetings and making direct inquiries for specific information
- Integral part of loan origination process and underwriting analysis
- Preparing approval memorandums for presentation to lending and credit authorities
- Analyzing financial statements, management profiles, cash flow ability, etc.
- Maintaining credit files and monitoring data such as updated financial statements
Requirements
- 4 year degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years related experience required
- Developed knowledge of credit and financial analysis techniques
- Ability to gather, consolidate, analyze and summarize data
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Developed PC skills including demonstrated proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software
