Manager Tech Delivery – Partner Management, Retail Technology Lab

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Accountable for direct or indirect day to day management of a team of IT professionals
- Negotiating technology costs and scope in forecasting, planning process with subset of business clients
- Identify opportunities, pro-active proposals/ideas to produce cost savings and/or modernize the infrastructure
- Annual financial planning
- Support and guidance on in-flight projects and planning of new initiatives
- Knowledge transfer to/from team members
- Identify opportunities to reduce expenses
- Build relationships with the business and other TD partners.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate
- 7-10 years relevant experience managing IT professionals, stakeholders, and technology project oversight
- Experience in the Canadian retail banking environment, financial services or customer‑focused service industries
- Extensive understanding of networks and switches, Windows servers knowledge
- Commitment to staying abreast of industry and business trends
- Readiness to serve as a technology, trends and processes "go-to" resource
- Ability to work with stakeholders to run initiatives, configure, upgrade and administer business applications and systems of moderate to high complexity, under minimal management supervision
- Strong ability to perform problem determination, including data gathering and analysis
- Great comfort-level acting as a reference for team or clients.
