Senior Analyst, Governance & Control

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support TDS' compliance with jurisdictional Privacy laws and regulations
- Implement, maintain and comply with Privacy-related policies and procedures
- Provide Privacy-related advice to TDS' products and initiatives
- Participate and challenge the business on initiatives including data governance oversight for projects
- Identify Privacy-related issues and escalate as necessary
- Build positive working relationships by effectively communicating
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong risk management and/ or compliance background
- Solid problem solving and decision-making ability
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact at all levels
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic, detail oriented, sometimes ambiguous environment
- Strong background and knowledge of capital markets, their functions and processes
- Experience in data analytics and developing business intelligence dashboards
- Post secondary education
- Previous privacy experience preferred
