About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for the design, implementation, and integration of tools and technologies used across the Compliance, Surveillance, and Supervision domain
  • Help integrate upstream bank systems with core surveillance platforms
  • Build robust, scalable, and maintainable data pipelines and analytics engines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 3 years of related experience
  • Strong Core Java experience, with some Python exposure; proven ability to build, unit test, deliver, and productionize scalable distributed systems
  • Solid understanding of data storage, ETL, and modern data engineering patterns
  • Experience with big data processing frameworks, including Apache Spark
  • Hands-on experience with cloud data lakes, relational databases, and big data platforms such as Databricks and Hadoop
  • Ability to work with large data sets in both batch-oriented and near-real-time environments
  • Experience integrating enterprise systems with vendor applications
  • Understanding of messaging systems and integration patterns, including Solace and Kafka
