About the role

  • Support oversight, operations, and compliance of various U.S. employee retirement plans
  • Provide service provider oversight and retirement plan subject matter expertise
  • Interpret plan documents and provisions
  • Lead or support projects of varying size and scope
  • Develop effective policies and programs in a specialized HR unit and act as SME
  • Develop proposals and recommendations related to policies and practices
  • Serve as key contact and work on complex HR issues, programs, and policies
  • Support integration and implementation of HR programs across client groups
  • Work closely with assigned HR partners to ensure business needs are met
  • Interpret data, assess risk associated with policies/programs, and escalate as required
  • May lead a team of Human Resources professionals and manage recruitment, training, coaching, and performance
  • Monitor and communicate effectiveness of strategies, programs, and practices; conduct post-implementation reviews
  • Provide high quality advice and counsel to business management and HR teams
  • Provide input to the department's business plan and lead action planning on employee survey results

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or progressive work experience
  • 7+ Years of related experience
  • In depth knowledge of a specialized Human Resources function
  • Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills
  • Ability to deal with all levels of management
  • Strong Customer service orientation and ability to establish strong working relationships with internal and external clients
  • Experience in Retirement Plan Administration and Compliance (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Workday Benefits and Payroll software (preferred)
  • Ability to prioritize and organize multiple deliverables simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Domestic travel – Occasional
