About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical leadership across the overall Analytics function
- Explain complex data analysis related material to clients
- Develop, maintain/enhance, and govern the Enterprise Anti-Money Laundering/Counter-Terrorist Financing (AML/CTF) models/AI solutions
- Liaise among model owners, developers, users, and other external stakeholders to promote best practice of model governance
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Interpret policies and provide guidance to FCRM stakeholders on model/AI related policy, procedure, and process
- Develop processes/tools to manage inventories, issues, and action items for the FCRM models
- Independently manage activities related to analysis, design, and support of technical data management solutions on various projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred (e.g., math, physics, engineering, finance or computer science)
- Graduate's degree preferred with either progressive project work experience or 5+ years of relevant experience
- Good understanding of Model and AI lifecycle, with fundamental knowledge of statistical and machine learning/artificial intelligence models
- Experience or excellent knowledge of model risk management within financial institutions and relevant regulatory requirements, such as SR 11-7
- Experience/knowledge of Financial Crime Risk Management practices and associated regulations
- Proven experience managing model inventory and issue remediations
- Strong project management experience, including planning, execution, and on-time delivery
- Excellent communication, meeting facilitation, and documentation skills to engage key stakeholders and business partners
- Outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills
