About the role
- Provide quality, efficient and specialized sales and trading support on a diverse range of assignments
- Input trade details into trade capture systems as directed by the Sales or Trading desks
- Ensure required economic attributes are captured to reflect the intended economic impact of trades
- Ensure positions are appropriately valued and cash flows and risk are accurately represented
- Capture all required counterparty details and trade control codes to facilitate downstream operations and regulatory reporting
- Cancel and amend trades upon instruction or notification from the Sales desks
- Perform maintenance to applicable trades upon instruction or notification from the Sales desks
- Ensure knowledge and adherence to internal policies and procedures related to trade capture, credit risk, market risk and trading supervision
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics
- Series 7 and 63
- 0-3 years of related experience
- Knowledge and adherence to Internal Trades, Trade Capture, Credit Risk, Market Risk, Trading Strategy (associated with the respective Market Risk Policy), Trading Authority Letter, Trading Supervision Standard
- Ability to input trade details into trade capture systems as directed by Sales or Trading desks
- Ability to cancel and amend trades upon instruction or notification from Sales desks and perform trade maintenance
- Familiarity with capturing required economic attributes, counterparty details and trade control codes to support valuations and regulatory reporting
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and perform sedentary work
