About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct in-depth industry and financial analysis of existing and potential borrowers
- Support Lending and Credit functions of the Bank
- Responsible for complex loans/industries/Customers
- Strong understanding of loan risk factors
- Train/mentor/coach junior analysts
- Research industry specific information
- Participate in customer meetings
- Integral part of loan origination process
- Prepare insightful and timely approval memorandums
- Analyze financial statements, management profiles, and cash flow ability
- Prepare complete written analysis with recommendations
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4 year degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years related experience required
- Knowledge of credit and financial analysis techniques
- Strong understanding of loan risk factors
- Ability to independently gather, consolidate, analyze and summarize data
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Well developed research and analytical skills
- PC skills including proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of credit and Customer information
- Ability to coach, train and lead junior staff
