About the role
- Provides broad business governance and control related process, research, evaluation, operations, testing, reporting and/or analytical support for assigned area/specialization and/or function
- Investigates and analyzes potential solutions; ensures processes and functional programs are implemented
- Executes on work with some complexity; generally requiring short to medium-term focus (weekly-monthly)
- Accountable for own work and effective coordination of processes and information across related teams
- Delivers on assigned initiatives/projects/programs with some direction from management
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree preferred
- 2+ years relevant experience
- Fundamental knowledge of governance, risk and control procedures, strategies & tactics
- Knowledge of current and emerging trends
- Skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques
- Skill in using computer applications including MS Office
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships
- Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently
- Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions
- Ability to analyze, research, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
