About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Learn to update the pricing algorithm to support business objectives for profitability and growth
- Participate in pricing strategy discussions and assist with implementation
- Assist in preparing documentation for regulatory bodies as required
- Assist in building models and applying optimization techniques to recommend premium adjustments
- Assist with monitoring and reporting on the financial performance of pricing strategies
- Assist in centralizing and optimizing the PRR reinsurance strategy
- Assist in monitoring the profitability of the PCA portfolio
- Assist in reviewing and updating group discounts
- Support internal product and pricing initiatives from the initial business case through deployment
- Assist with migration to a leading-edge pricing platform
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in actuarial science or a related field
- Proficiency in Excel
- Interest in or proficiency with programming, particularly SQL and R
- Strong teamwork skills
