About the role

  • The Associate Manager, Brand Strategy supports the Brand Strategy organization in developing and executing strategies that strengthen the bank’s brand positioning, reputation, and customer experience.
  • As a brand champion for TD’s “More Human” brand platform, this role helps ensure consistent and cohesive brand expression.
  • The Associate Manager will work alongside cross-functional partners to align messaging, creative, and execution across integrated marketing campaigns.
  • The Associate Marketing Manager is an expert level marketing professional responsible for managing and/or leading development and execution of moderate to complex marketing plans/programs/projects/strategies, by designing and delivering marketing solutions/insights consistent with TD’s marketing standards and strategies, in support of business results, customer engagement and experience.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent required
  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • Proficient knowledge of multiple marketing disciplines, strategy development, consulting principles, lines of businesses supported, banking industry, and product/customer markets
  • Proficient knowledge of customer and brand research techniques and ability to develop analyses and insights that will drive customer strategy formation and business decisions
  • Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends
  • Knowledge of risk management environment, standards and regulations
  • Ability to manage a budget and work within the constraints of that budget
  • Ability to lead, plan, implement and evaluate program/project activities to ensure completion of initiatives
  • Skill in mentoring, coaching
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
  • Skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques
  • Skill in using computer applications including MS Office
