About the role

  • Responsible for directly managing a team of Financial Advisors
  • Hire, onboard, and supervise Financial Advisors in an assigned market/territory
  • Recruit, train, coach, and mentor Financial Advisors
  • Provide advice through planning and distribution of Mass Affluent products
  • Create positive relationships with Partners to drive referral activities
  • Increase Mass Affluent product sales productivity through coaching and planning
  • Manage territory and align Store coverage to meet needs
  • Develop strong relationships with Wealth and Retail partners
  • Directly accountable for assigned Mass Affluent revenue and Wealth/brokerage referral goals
  • Participate in community and business development activities
  • Monitor and manage expenditures and prepare financial reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 7 - 10+ years related experience
  • Required Licenses: Life/Health, Series 65, 7 and 24
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven managerial skills
  • Previous sales/leadership experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Demonstrated experience performing complex financial, statistical and budgetary analyses, preferably in the banking industry.
  • Ability to travel within assigned Market; about 75% of time
  • Driver’s License required.
