About the role

  • Manage a team of Compliance Managers and Analysts
  • Provide comprehensive senior-level management coverage for a significant business or functional area
  • Make decisions on complex regulatory matters within the compliance framework
  • Summarize information for a senior executive audience
  • Oversees compliance functions for the Company and supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of a regulatory compliance program
  • Manage compliance aspects of applicable laws and regulations
  • Interact with senior management in assigned areas
  • Develop, revise, and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Strong understanding of consumer protection regulations including Reg Z, Reg X, FDPA and SCRA
  • Credit reporting and disputes experience; Reg V/ FCRA
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with a broad range of lending servicing activities including mortgage and auto lending originations or servicing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level reporting and presentation development
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and basic Excel
  • Experience in compliance project work and cross-functional initiatives
  • Independent thinker with sound judgment and the ability to challenge effectively
  • CRCM a plus
