About the role
- Defines, develops and implements Technology Controls / Information Security related policies and programs
- Provides specialized expertise and guidance on assessing risks and identifying potential gaps
- Participates on projects of moderate to high complexity
- Acts as a lead expert resource in technology controls / information security for project teams
- Provides complex reporting, analysis, and assessments at the functional or enterprise level
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Information security certification / accreditation an asset
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Expert knowledge of IT security and risk disciplines and practices
- 5+ experience in Cyber Security Operations, Incident Response, use case development, and/or Threat Hunting
- Highly proficient with SIEM and EDR/XDR tools
- Ability to act as a technical responder for critical security incidents
- Experience providing real-time guidance to junior staff
