About the role
- Lead the Portfolio Management department of the Healthcare Practice Solutions Group
- Manage approximately 8 underwriters
- Oversee the HPSG portfolio
- Review approval packages for annual reviews, criticized assets, modifications
- Recommend and/or approve loans within NCUM I credit authority
- Provide mentorship, motivation, training and coaching to direct reports
- Establish credit structure, Borrower Risk Ratings
- Manage a team of commercial credit professionals
- Ensure adherence to Risk Policies
- Contribute to process improvement, system enhancements, process workflow
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree preferred
- 10+ years of relevant commercial lending relationship management, underwriting, and/or adjudication experience
- Prior lending authority >/= $1 million preferred
- Small Business Administration/Agency, Healthcare Practice Solutions, or other specialty lending experience preferred
- Proven leadership abilities
- Ability to lead in a highly professional, systems-based environment
- Proven analytical and research skills
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Proven organizational, multi-tasking, analytical, time management and decision-making skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team orientation
