About the role
- Defines, develops and/or implements Technology Controls / Information Security related policies and programs
- Provides specialized expertise and guidance on assessing risks and identifying potential gaps
- Participates on projects of moderate to high complexity and provides complex reporting and analysis
- Acts as a lead expert resource in technology controls / information security for project teams and the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Information security certification / accreditation an asset
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Expert knowledge of IT security and risk disciplines and practices
- Governance, risk and compliance of audit and regulatory issue remediation challenge and quality assurance
- Experience with audit standards and risk frameworks
- Expertise in information security control methodologies
- Knowledge of governance frameworks (ITIL, NIST, COBIT)
- Familiarity with tools like RSA Archer and JIRA
- Certifications (CRISC, CISA, and CISSP)
