About the role
- Provides subject matter expertise and creates a broad range of data models
- Acts as a subject matter expert within their own area of specialization
- Solves complex problems requiring analysis of multiple variables
- Translates business requirements into technical requirements
- Develops and/or designs data solutions and conducts reviews of data models and outputs to validate and test quality of information/solutions
- Works closely with business owners to identify opportunities and serves as an ambassador for data modelling
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred (e.g., math, physics, engineering, finance or computer science)
- Graduate's degree preferred with either progressive project work experience, or; 3+ years of relevant experience; higher degree education and research tenure can be counted
- Experience or familiarity with allowance for credit loss calculation.
- Master's degree in a quantitative of discipline and two or more years experience at a large financial institution in a related role or Doctoral degree in a quantitative discipline.
