💰 $30 - $45 per hour

About the role

  • Perform hands-on system testing activities: test planning, script writing, data staging and manual or automated testing system updates/changes against functional requirements.
  • Contribute to test planning and perform hands-on test design/development/maintenance.
  • Integrate directly into a team’s continuous delivery process.
  • Analyze, develop, debug, and maintain test suites (automated/manual), traceability matrices; log defects/assist in defect resolution.
  • Provide quick feedback throughout the development and design process; report on the test results to confirm quality.
  • Collaborate with the development team to define and validate user stories, acceptance criteria and Definition of Done (DoD) / Ready (DoR).

Requirements

  • BS degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline; or equivalent practical experience
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Foundational knowledge of specific domain and quality engineering frameworks, technology, tools, processes, and procedures
  • Solid knowledge of coding practices, testing, and debugging to develop and maintain resilient automated test scripts
  • Hands-on debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of in scope TD business and systems, practices, business / organization, Bank standards
  • Ability to drive work effort, own tasks, and estimate and prioritize activities for medium to moderately complex tasks
  • Experience with Encompass and Agile Methodology (JIRA, JTMF, and terminology)
  • Writing requirements, Use Cases and Test Scripts, and performing System Testing
