About the role
- Lead a specialized team of data professionals responsible for driving changes and improvements in business practices through advanced analytics
- Manage the overall Advanced Analytics team or function for a key business including Data Modelers and/or Data Scientist roles
- Oversee the development of statistical models, data mining and analytic solutions
- Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements in model governance
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive best practices in model governance
- Design and develop necessary procedures and guidelines related to FCRM models
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred (e.g., math, physics, engineering, finance or computer science)
- Graduate's degree preferred with either progressive project work experience, or; 7+ year of relevant experience
- In-depth understanding of the lifecycle of models and AI solutions
- Extensive knowledge of model risk management within financial institutions and relevant regulatory requirements, such as SR 11-7
- Proven experience with model inventory and issue management
- Efficient communication and documentation skills with key stakeholders and business partners
- Outstanding task prioritization skills to adapt with a dynamic and evolving business environment
