About the role

  • manage a team of Business Insights & Analytics specialists
  • work closely with various internal stakeholders/partners to understand business objectives
  • identify data/information needs, opportunities for improvement
  • help inform and support business decisions and strategies
  • provide people management leadership by hiring the best talent
  • oversee and lead a large and/or highly complex, and diverse reporting function
  • act as a strategic partner to leadership team on the management of the portfolio and financials
  • facilitate key strategic discussions and provide thought leadership to executive audience
  • set operational team direction and collaborate with others to execute on common goals
  • focus on longer-range planning for functional area (e.g. 12 months or greater)

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred (e.g., math, physics, engineering, finance or computer science)
  • Graduate's degree preferred with either progressive project work experience, or; 7+ year of relevant experience; higher degree education and research tenure can be counted
  • Strong programming experience in Python for data analysis, automation, and insights generation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform, including BI, Power Automate, and insights generation.
  • Advanced SQL skills for querying, manipulating, and analyzing large datasets.
  • Exceptional executive level communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills, including executive-ready storytelling, data visualization, and presentation design.
