About the role
- Develop and improve analytic tools and methods to support insight generation
- Identify issues proactively, emerging trends and opportunities arising from analysis and insights
- Perform deep-dive analyses on claims results and communicate the results effectively
- Contribute to the timely delivery and presentation of regular reporting and analysis on claims frequency, severity, and expense results to partners and executives across the organization
- Oversee end-to-end analyses and insights solutions over a range of complexity, from the initial demand to the delivery of reporting or analysis and presentation of results
- Apply an effective and collaborative approach to stakeholder management
- Build and nurture positive working relationships with key partners and executives as appropriate
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Actuarial Science
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience and progress towards ACAS designation
- Experience in General Insurance
- Strong programming skills (SQL, Python, R)
- Highly developed problem-solving and analysis skills with consistent rigor in quality of work
- Uses innovation and creativity to improve work efficiency and results
- Effective in managing multiple priorities with strong organization and time management skills
- Strong collaborator who engages colleagues, business partners and external stakeholders
