About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare and review account analyses, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for monthly close
Create and post monthly journal entries and calculate accurate month‑end accruals
Research, analyze, and resolve accounting issues that impact financial statements
Provide financial and analytical support to internal stakeholders and business partners
Collect, analyze, and distribute financial data to support reporting and decision‑making
Develop ad hoc financial reports and analyses to address business questions
Identify process improvement opportunities and support efficiency and quality initiatives
Escalate risks, issues, or discrepancies to management in a timely and professional manner
Prepare clear, concise documentation to support accounting conclusions and audits
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive financial and business information
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED required
Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
Approximately 5–10 years of experience in Accounting or Finance
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required)
Experience with Microsoft Access or similar tools (preferred)
Ability to analyze complex data, identify root causes, and develop sound solutions
