About the role
- Develop and maintain relationships with assigned clients, customers, and partners, valuing diverse perspectives.
- Educate clients, customers, and partners on DLT's core value services, ensuring accessibility and understanding for all.
- Conduct research to identify opportunities that reflect a variety of needs and preferences.
- Reach out to potential sales prospects, embracing different communication styles.
- Develop and report monthly sales activity documentation, including Sales Plays, with an emphasis on clarity and inclusivity.
- Engage in lead generation and sales activities that consider diverse market segments.
- Make calls to potential customers to discuss assigned client products, adapting approaches to suit varied audiences.
- Collaborate with DLT’s OCTO team of market executives and technologists to support client growth objectives, valuing teamwork and diverse input.
- Participate in sales and marketing activities to promote client products, ensuring representation of diverse voices.
- Manage, document, and forecast a pipeline of opportunities, focusing on retention and growth for all clients.
- Conduct client and customer success activities to retain and build business, prioritizing inclusive practices.
- Investigate and resolve client and customer issues as they arise, ensuring equitable solutions.
- Document quotes and other sales activities accurately in the company CRM, promoting transparency.
- Track all opportunities to support the attainment of sales goals, recognizing the contributions of all team members.
- Manage agreements and credit terms as needed, ensuring fairness and clarity.
- Execute Business Planning Objectives, including Internal Team and Client/Partner Joint Business Plans, with a commitment to inclusivity.
Requirements
- Education: College Degree or equivalent work or military experience; we value diverse educational backgrounds.
- Experience: 2-4 years of sales experience, 2-4 years of general business experience, 2-4 years of customer service experience and/or team leadership experience; 1-2 years of previous job experience with public sector procurement processes.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales activity and financial metrics is essential.
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). We value diverse communication styles and approaches.
