About the role

  • Develop, execute, and maintain detailed manual test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements and user stories
  • Perform thorough manual testing of mobile applications to ensure functionality, usability, reliability, and basic performance expectations are met
  • Test applications across iOS and Android platforms, covering different devices, screen sizes, OS versions, and configurations
  • Identify, document, and track defects with clear severity, priority, and supporting evidence (logs, screenshots, videos)
  • Collaborate closely with iOS, Android, middleware developers, technical BA, and Product Owner to clarify requirements and verify fixes
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure new releases and updates do not introduce unexpected issues
  • Validate API request and response behavior, including data accuracy, error handling, and performance at a functional level
  • Evaluate overall user experience (UX) and provide actionable feedback to improve usability and consistency
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, refinements, and sprint reviews
  • Prepare and maintain accurate QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, test results, and release sign-offs
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and data protection standards, including banking secrecy and internal policies
  • Stay up to date with manual QA best practices, mobile testing tools, and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of experience in manual or functional QA testing, preferably on mobile applications
  • Strong experience in writing and executing manual test cases and test scenarios
  • Hands-on experience with API testing (request/response validation, status codes, payload checks)
  • Solid understanding of cross-platform and cross-device testing for iOS and Android
  • Experience using bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Confluence or similar
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in cross-functional teams
  • Experience in fintech or banking applications is a strong plus, including exposure to regulatory or compliance-driven environments
  • Good understanding of security, data privacy, and compliance requirements in financial applications
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Proactive, self-motivated mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
