About the role

  • Lead strategic initiatives across mortgage technology platforms and optimize system performance
  • Partner with Financial Services Director of Analytics & Mortgage Operations and Taylor Morrison IT to develop strategy and execute initiatives
  • Conduct IT activities consistent with SOX compliance, control, and reporting requirements
  • Drive evolution of mortgage applications, lead Encompass platform transitions ensuring scalability, efficiency, and compliance
  • Oversee and manage multiple mortgage technology transformation projects ensuring timely delivery and scope adherence
  • Organize and execute full-cycle Encompass system implementations including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support
  • Deliver system integrations with ancillary platforms and develop and maintain business rules, forms, and compliance workflows
  • Manage internal and external vendor developers to ensure quality and adherence to technical standards
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and serve as primary liaison for Encompass-related projects
  • Evaluate and optimize system configurations and workflows, implement RPA solutions to streamline processes
  • Conduct system reviews and deliver optimization blueprints; coordinate maintenance, troubleshooting, and ongoing support
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends and actionable insights for leadership
  • Coordinate and execute system maintenance, troubleshooting, and integrations with ancillary technology platforms
  • Interview, select, train employees and appraise productivity; handle grievances or disciplinary actions
  • Plan budgets for technology department and monitor work for legal or regulatory compliance
  • Provide safety and security of the workplace
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in mortgage systems administration, implementation, or strategy required
  • Two (2) years to five (5) years of project management experience required
  • Encompass experience is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is a plus, but not required
  • ICE Mortgage Technology Encompass Administrator Certification is a plus
  • Experience with LoanVision, SoftPro, PowerBI, Jira and Halo systems is a plus
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Visual Basic (VBA) and C# is a plus
  • Experience managing on-site, offshore and remote team members
  • Experience working in publicly owned company and/or industries with SOX compliance program
  • Proficient in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to partner with remote technical team and local business leadership
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently
  • Detail-oriented and able to multi-task
  • Maintain confidentiality of company and customer’s information
  • Proficient in using communication tools such as phone and computer, including Microsoft Suite
  • Strong communication skills – written, verbal, and listening
