About the role
- Process incoming invoices accurately and efficiently through our purchase order system — the backbone of clean financial operations.
- Collect and reconcile credit card statements and take ownership of related invoices on a regular basis.
- Handle employee reimbursement requests with care and precision, in line with our internal guidelines.
- Support the team with research and ad-hoc tasks, bringing structured thinking and curiosity to everything you do.
- Actively contribute to weekly team meetings and help shape ongoing process improvements.
- Play a real role in developing AI-driven initiatives within our Finance team — think smarter automation, more efficient workflows, and tools that will become industry standard. You won't just be a bystander; you'll help build it.
Requirements
- You're currently enrolled at a German university, pursuing a Bachelor's in Management, Economics, or Business Administration — ideally with a focus on Accounting, Finance, Controlling, or Taxes.
- You have a foundational understanding of accounting principles, particularly HGB.
- You communicate confidently in English (written and spoken). German is a great bonus.
- You're comfortable with MS Office and Google Workspace in a professional setting.
- You work in a structured, detail-oriented way and take pride in getting things right.
- You're genuinely excited about start-ups and dynamic environments where things evolve quickly.
- Bonus: Any experience or curiosity around AI tools — we're building this journey together and love people who are eager to explore.
