About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work closely with Supplier Success, Funding/Trading and Payment Operations, Technical/Engineering, Product Development, customers, and partners
- Work directly with Suppliers, Buyers, and Finance Partners to resolve early payment and payment issues
- Maintain strong internal and external communication and drive issue resolution
- Support Supplier Success and Sales teams in seamlessly onboarding new Suppliers to the platform
- Take ownership of issues, maintain an issue queue, and manage issues through resolution
- Perform critical problem solving to identify how and where issues are broken and develop resolution options
- Relate current issues to historical system or process events
- Conduct root-cause analysis
- Triage incoming issues and prioritize them accordingly
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to communicate complex findings and ideas in plain language
- Ability to empathize with customers
- Ability to change direction quickly, juggle time-sensitive priorities, and evaluate trade-offs
- Enjoys discovering and solving problems
- Good analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Resourceful and proactive about learning the role
- Degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or a related field (preferred background)
- Excel experience, including VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, and Pivot Tables
- Experience in finance, financial services, accounting, trade finance, supply chain finance, payments, or FinTech
- SAP or another ERP ecosystem experience
- Salesforce or another CRM system experience
- SQL and relational database experience
- Customer service or client relationship management experience
- Experience working within a global team
