About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate closely with our frontend engineers and product team to design and deliver high-quality, scalable APIs and services for our customer-facing Dashboard
- Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable TypeScript code using NestJS and modern backend tooling
- Focus on quality and long-term maintainability of our products
- Design and evolve data models and integrations backed by MongoDB
- Integrate and maintain third-party services such as Stripe for billing and payments
- Implement and maintain automated tests to ensure code quality
- Participate in code reviews to provide and receive feedback
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in backend development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Problem-solving and communication skills
- Proven experience owning services in production and designing systems at scale
- Strong understanding of API design and data modeling principles
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with the NestJS framework and MongoDB
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP is plus
- Experience integrating payment providers or paywalls (e.g., Stripe) is a plus
- Experience with blockchain technology is a plus
