About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the Technical Sales function, leading its strategy and execution
- Provide technical leadership and support for regional accounts and partners
- Ensure alignment of technical sales activities with customers
- Drive opportunity identification, prioritization, and technical validation
- Collaborate closely with leadership to enhance customer satisfaction
- Serve as a senior technical interface for regional customers
- Manage high-priority customer escalations and provide strategic guidance
- Establish and monitor performance metrics across the Technical Sales function
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in technical discipline
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Expert knowledge in multiple related specialised fields
- Experience in managing and developing customer facing teams
- Advanced communication skills to convey complicated information
- Demonstrated proficiency in German, both written and verbal required
- Demonstrated successes in value-based selling
- Developing short to mid-term strategies
- Able to identify emerging and future technical needs
- Proven ability to close critical deals and negotiate high-value partnerships
