Analyst, Commercial Real Estate Lending

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide analytical support necessary to drive the deal pipeline for commercial loans.
- Investigate borrower quality and manage the documentation for commercial loans.
- Coordinate once a deal is signed, assisting the Origination team with due diligence.
- Develop technical skills by analyzing property operating statements and financial data.
- Collaborate with the team to draft Mortgage Presentations that support lending recommendations.
- Help move deals from the Commitment Letter to closing by coordinating with teams.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Post-secondary education in finance, economics, real estate, business administration, or a related field.
- 1 year of experience in commercial real estate underwriting, valuation, risk, or credit analysis will be considered an asset.
- Proficiency in English and French will be considered an asset.
- Deep understanding of financial statements and market trends to build high-impact presentations.
