Analyst, Commercial Lending

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide analytical support necessary to drive the deal pipeline.
- Act as a key coordinator once a deal is signed, assisting the Origination team.
- Scrub property operating statements and financial data to assess performance.
- Collaborate with the team to draft Mortgage Presentations.
- Help move deals from the Commitment Letter to the closing table.
- Gain exposure to fundamentals of CMHC-insured multi-family lending.
- Monitor the real estate landscape nationwide.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Post-secondary education in finance, economics, real estate, business administration, or a related field.
- One (1) year of experience in commercial real estate underwriting, valuation, risk, or credit analysis will be considered an asset.
- Proficiency in English and French will be considered an asset.
- A proactive, self-driven approach to managing projects.
- Strong analytical skills to identify inconsistencies in complex datasets.
