About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the GMD Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the GMD Fire Control (GFC) product
- Use modern tools to further the development and sustainment of the GMD system
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors Degree in a STEM discipline preferred from an accredited university and 5 years of related work experience, or a Masters degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related work experience, or a PhD and 1 year of related work experience, or 9 years of related work experience in lieu of a degree may be considered
- Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - software design requirements, application development, integration, testing, and deployment
- Recent development using Python
- Recent experience in software development related to Test Automation
- Experience/Exposure to Test Automated GUI driven tools Eggplant specifically
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), development of requirements and multiple system engineering models
- Definition of high-level functional and performance requirements and verification methods, subsequent analysis, decomposition, and derivation of requirements, allocation of those lower-level requirements to physical and functional architectural elements, and tracking them through design, verification, integration, and operational validation
- Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS
- Experience in documenting Interface Control Documents, Interface Requirement Specifications, and Interface Description Documents
- Applicants must have a current DOD 8140 IAT Level II certification or higher (ex: Security + CE)
- Experience working in an Agile environment using Jira, Confluence, Fisheye/Crucible, Bitbucket, and Jenkins
- Proven ability to work across product teams to produce program-level solutions
- Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance
- Must be able to work in the office, on-site
