Key responsibilities & impact

Support the GMD Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the GMD Fire Control (GFC) product
Use modern tools to further the development and sustainment of the GMD system

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelors Degree in a STEM discipline preferred from an accredited university and 5 years of related work experience, or a Masters degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related work experience, or a PhD and 1 year of related work experience, or 9 years of related work experience in lieu of a degree may be considered
Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - software design requirements, application development, integration, testing, and deployment
Recent development using Python
Recent experience in software development related to Test Automation
Experience/Exposure to Test Automated GUI driven tools Eggplant specifically
Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), development of requirements and multiple system engineering models
Definition of high-level functional and performance requirements and verification methods, subsequent analysis, decomposition, and derivation of requirements, allocation of those lower-level requirements to physical and functional architectural elements, and tracking them through design, verification, integration, and operational validation
Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS
Experience in documenting Interface Control Documents, Interface Requirement Specifications, and Interface Description Documents
Applicants must have a current DOD 8140 IAT Level II certification or higher (ex: Security + CE)
Experience working in an Agile environment using Jira, Confluence, Fisheye/Crucible, Bitbucket, and Jenkins
Proven ability to work across product teams to produce program-level solutions
Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance
Must be able to work in the office, on-site
