About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the Systems Engineering Team for the Ground Fire Control (GFC) product
  • Develop and assist in the requirements process that supports the design and development of GWS capabilities on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA)
  • Thrive in a fast-paced work environment with diverse assignments and collaborative teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelors Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university
  • 2 years of related work experience, or a Master's Degree and 0-2 years of related work experience
  • Solid understanding of system engineering processes and principles
  • Proven experience in applying system engineering to develop product solutions
  • Familiar with DOORS, Cameo, and MBSE
  • Experience with Software development and the verification of requirements
  • Experience with a large-scale missile defense system like GMD
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to think critically and capture concepts in work products, presentations, and discussions
  • Capable of working both independently and within a team environment
  • Support an in-person / closed-area work environment
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
