About the role
- Support the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the Systems Engineering Team for the Ground Fire Control (GFC) product
- Develop and assist in the requirements process that directly supports the design and development of GWS capabilities on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA)
- Thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, diverse assignments, and collaborative teams
- Utilize modern tools for the development and sustainment of the GMD system
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 8 years of related experience
- Master's Degree in STEM and 6 years of related experience
- 4 years of experience with a PhD in STEM
- Solid understanding of system engineering processes and principles
- Proven experience in applying engineering principles to develop product solutions
- Experience with SW development and the verification of requirements
- Experience with DOORS, Cameo, and MBSE
- Previous experience working on a large-scale missile defense system like GMD
- Good communication skills
- Ability to think critically and capture concepts in work products, presentations, and discussions
- Must be able to support an in-person / closed-area work environment
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
