About the role
- Support the development and enhancement of SAP S/4HANA applications using ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP)
- Build and maintain side-by-side extensions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Assist in designing and implementing clean core-compliant extensions using in-app and on-stack extensibility techniques
- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Develop OData services, Fiori Elements apps, and event-driven architectures using SAP Event Mesh or SAP Integration Suite
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning
- Document technical specifications, test cases, and deployment procedures
- Stay updated on RISE with SAP, GROW with SAP, and SAP BTP innovations
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of experience in SAP ABAP development
- Exposure to S/4HANA and cloud-based development
- Hands-on experience with ABAP on Cloud / RAP, SAP BTP, OData and CDS Views, Fiori Elements and UI5
- Understanding of clean core principles, modular architecture, and extensibility options in S/4HANA
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices in SAP environments is preferred
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
