About the role
- Manage Greece + Croatia + Serbia benefit programs including health, life, dental, voluntary, Next Gen, voluntary benefits, alliances, and others
- Serve as local benefit point of contact
- Manage day-to-day benefits administration and compliance of programs, through management of internal and vendor partner relationships
- Manage relationships with vendors, brokers, and carriers, including monitoring of cost, service levels, processes, and accuracy of data
- Support negotiations and renewals with providers including governance, contract compliance, issues management, communications frequency and strategy, new hires sessions, onsite activities
- Identify potential opportunities and gaps, leverage external best practices, and design benefit initiatives that are aligned to our global principles and corporate values, yet provide flexibility and local customization to account for cultural and market differences
- Help to build the capability and infrastructure of the local benefits team
- Build and sustain trusting and collaborative relationships at multiple levels in the company; HR partners, HR shared services, business leaders, etc. regarding benefits issues
- Gather insight on how teammates in Greece + Croatia + Serbia utilize our Benefits programs and offer recommendations
- Use effective communication vehicles to optimize benefits impact and understanding of the benefits package, including standard ones such as knowledge articles, FAQ for Tier 1 HRSS support, among others
- Review, draft and document benefits policies, collaborating with Greece + Croatia + Serbia HR and payroll team to ensure the efficient benefits' administration
- Keep abreast of changes in local market practice to identify areas of improvement
- Review contracts, service agreements, and communication materials for accuracy and compliance
- Support the use of TaskUs technology for benefit communication and administration including Benefits Portal, Glowstick, etc.
- Recommends and develops process improvements as appropriate
- Provide guidance, training and coordinate work of less experience benefit analysts and interns
- Perform other job related assignments that may be assigned from time to time
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in benefits administration or a related role
- Strong understanding of employee benefits plans (health, dental, retirement, etc.)
- Experience with benefits administration software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain complex benefits information to employees
- Analytical skills to research and evaluate benefit options
