About the role
- Support and assist in the implementation of IAM projects and initiatives, particularly utilizing technologies like Ping Identity and IGA solutions
- Collaborate effectively with IAM management, IT teams, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical assistance
- Assist Senior IAM Engineer in understanding business requirements and developing IAM strategies
- Assist in provisioning, de-provisioning, and managing user access across applications integrated with IAM solutions
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and monitor IAM systems for performance, availability, and security
- Maintain accurate documentation of IAM processes, configurations, and operational tasks
- Participate in IAM solution-related incident response activities, assisting in troubleshooting and resolving access-related issues
- Contribute to IAM solution improvement and compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- 2-3 years hands-on experience with IAM solutions such as Okta, Azure Active Directory, Ping Identity, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with IAM concepts, principles, and technologies, particularly Ping Identity and IGA solutions
- PingID hands-on experience is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of identity lifecycle management
- Experience with Single sign-on (SSO) and Multi-factor authentication (MFA)
- Knowledge of Role-based access control (RBAC) and Privileged access management (PAM)
- Understanding of IAM Governance
- Strong understanding of network security, encryption techniques, and authentication protocols (e.g., LDAP, SAML, OAuth)
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell) for automation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in IT Security, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Willingness to learn and collaborate across stakeholders
- Must be willing to report onsite if needed and able to work shifting schedules if required
