About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and execute a global privacy roadmap
Act as the subject matter expert on global privacy laws
Partner with Sales and Legal to negotiate complex Data Processing Addendums (DPAs)
Partner with the Product and AI Operations teams to ensure ethical use of AI
Embed privacy requirements into new product development and client onboarding processes
Oversee privacy due diligence and lifecycle management of third-party vendors
Lead the Global Privacy Incident Response Team
Oversee Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and manage third-party privacy audits
Foster a culture of privacy awareness across the global frontline
Lead and scale a multidisciplinary global privacy team

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience in data privacy, legal, or compliance
At least 5 years in a global leadership role
JD or equivalent advanced degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree in Law, IT, or Business required
Certifications: CIPP/E, CIPP/US, and CIPM (IAPP) certifications are highly preferred.
Deep understanding of how data flows through modern cloud infrastructure and AI/ML pipelines
Experience managing remote, multicultural teams and navigating the nuances of international labor and data laws
