About the role
- Maintain and monitor physical security policies, standards, and best practices
- Abide by Security guidelines to provide safety and security of staff and assets
- Interact with employees and guests and provide direction on security policy and visitor directions
- Operational use of security systems (access control, fire detection and CCTV)
- Monitor response to access control, fire detection and CCTV systems
- Coordinate/dispatch emergency responses to all security events and ensure proper escalation
- Assist with Fire, EMS and Law Enforcement and respond to emergency dispatch, response and mitigation
- Resolve complex customer service issues and initiate incident report investigations with detailed reports
- Grant ID badges to staff as needed
- Perform building patrols
Requirements
- Active Driver’s license
- Minimum High School graduate or equivalent
- Security, military, law enforcement, firefighting or emergency medical services background preferred
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Formal and ongoing Security Training
- Complex problem solving
- Physically fit enough to walk building patrols
- Must be able to attain and retain CPR/AED Professional Rescuer Certification
- Maintain security license and/or weapons qualifications/licensing per specific location
- Represents Mastercard while interacting with Fire, EMS and Law Enforcement liaison at State and Local levels
