💰 $109,000 - $207,000 per year

About the role

  • Own and manage Mastercard’s corporate travel program for the Americas region, including air, hotel, ground transportation, and rail.
  • Enforce travel policy and procedures
  • Manage relationship with travel management company, booking tool, airlines, hotels, and other suppliers
  • Manage airline loyalty upgrades
  • Negotiate contracts and preferred supplier agreements to maximize savings and value
  • Monitor travel spend, analyze data, and report on trends, savings, and compliance including unused tickets
  • Integrate reporting into the overall travel data (DecisionSource, PredictX, etc.)
  • Ensure duty of care and traveler safety, including risk management and emergency response protocols (Crisis Management)
  • Partner with business teams to align travel strategy with business goals including Sustainability
  • Stay current and communicate industry trends, technology, and best practices
  • Conduct Admin Roundtables to gather feedback for improvement as well as provide travel updates
  • Manage and lead end-to-end projects including strategy development, planning, cross-functional collaboration, and delivery, ensuring objectives are achieved on time and within scope.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing corporate travel programs
  • Strong knowledge of travel management systems, booking tools, and expense platforms
  • Proven experience negotiating supplier contracts and managing budgets
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
