• Develop and execute Mastercard’s global employment tax policy, ensuring alignment with corporate tax objectives and risk tolerance
• Lead compliance efforts for payroll tax audits, and reporting procedures across federal, state, local, and international jurisdictions
• Serve as the primary advisor on employment tax matters, including compensation structures, benefits, and mobility programs
• Lead employment tax audits and manage responses to inquiries from taxing authorities
• Establish and maintain policies and controls to manage employment tax risks
• Provide training and guidance to internal teams on employment tax topics
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and assess their impact on Mastercard’s employment tax posture and policies
• Partner with internal stakeholders to support M&A integration, system implementations, and process enhancements with employment tax implications
• Grow and develop a team to support employment tax agenda and strategic objectives
