About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee daily accounting operations for the Residential BU in North America.
- Own month-end close and consolidation, supports internal and external audits.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of accounting records including financial statements and reports.
- Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Oversee and control intercompany billing processes.
- Review credit card purchases for proper account assignment and compliance with internal controls.
- Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies.
- Create financial reports in a timely manner to support understanding and decision-making.
- Assist with internal and external audit activities by gathering requested documentation.
- Drive accounting and finance projects in collaboration with the broader finance team.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of progressively responsible financial accounting experience
- CPA required
- SAP experience required
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with PowerBI
- GAAP proficiency
