About the role

  • Assist and coordinate with Accounts Payable processing
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis as required
  • Provide administrative support to the Collection function
  • Help support the monthly accounting cycle through preparation of reconciliations, analysis, and preparation of the month-end entries as required
  • Support Finance projects and engage in system testing

Requirements

  • Working towards a Finance or Accounting degree
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook and Word) is required
  • Knowledge of accounting is an asset
  • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills is an asset
  • Students must be actively enrolled in a program at an accredited institution such as a public university or community college
  • Applicants must be returning to their study program for a minimum of one (1) semester upon completion of the summer employment opportunity
