Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and implement metrics, reports, visualizations, and statistical analyses to support business objectives
Collaborate with business partners to understand their needs and translate them into analytical solutions
Design, execute, and document data analyses and coding projects while adhering to data management principles and best practices
Apply the scientific method to design tests, conduct experiments, and generate actionable insights from observational data
Build and maintain robust database architectures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data extraction, transformation, and loading processes
Stay up-to-date with new and evolving technologies, incorporating them into workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy
Provide training and guidance to team members and stakeholders on reporting tools, data visualization, and analytical best practices
Understand dependencies within Business Intelligence (BI) systems and ensure seamless integration across tools and platforms
Partner with Store Operations and other domain teams to enhance processes and support decision-making through data-driven insights

Requirements

What you’ll need

4-year degree in Quantitative disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent experience
5 plus years of experience in data visualization, Python programming and statistical analysis
Proven track record in developing metrics, reports, and visualizations while documenting code and adhering to best practices in data management
Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or similar tools
Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent tools
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to present complex data insights clearly and effectively
Ability to learn, teach, and apply advanced reporting and analytical tools and methodologies
Demonstrated experience with Store Processes and domain expertise is a plus
Ability to mentor data analysts and help establish BI standards, architecture patterns and best practices
Self-driven, results-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines
Motivated team player who thrives in a collaborative global environment
