About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement metrics, reports, visualizations, and statistical analyses to support business objectives
- Collaborate with business partners to understand their needs and translate them into analytical solutions
- Design, execute, and document data analyses and coding projects while adhering to data management principles and best practices
- Apply the scientific method to design tests, conduct experiments, and generate actionable insights from observational data
- Build and maintain robust database architectures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data extraction, transformation, and loading processes
- Stay up-to-date with new and evolving technologies, incorporating them into workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Provide training and guidance to team members and stakeholders on reporting tools, data visualization, and analytical best practices
- Understand dependencies within Business Intelligence (BI) systems and ensure seamless integration across tools and platforms
- Partner with Store Operations and other domain teams to enhance processes and support decision-making through data-driven insights
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4-year degree in Quantitative disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent experience
- 5 plus years of experience in data visualization, Python programming and statistical analysis
- Proven track record in developing metrics, reports, and visualizations while documenting code and adhering to best practices in data management
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or similar tools
- Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to present complex data insights clearly and effectively
- Ability to learn, teach, and apply advanced reporting and analytical tools and methodologies
- Demonstrated experience with Store Processes and domain expertise is a plus
- Ability to mentor data analysts and help establish BI standards, architecture patterns and best practices
- Self-driven, results-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines
- Motivated team player who thrives in a collaborative global environment
