About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and implement metrics, reports, visualizations, and statistical analyses to support business objectives
  • Collaborate with business partners to understand their needs and translate them into analytical solutions
  • Design, execute, and document data analyses and coding projects while adhering to data management principles and best practices
  • Apply the scientific method to design tests, conduct experiments, and generate actionable insights from observational data
  • Build and maintain robust database architectures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data extraction, transformation, and loading processes
  • Stay up-to-date with new and evolving technologies, incorporating them into workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Provide training and guidance to team members and stakeholders on reporting tools, data visualization, and analytical best practices
  • Understand dependencies within Business Intelligence (BI) systems and ensure seamless integration across tools and platforms
  • Partner with Store Operations and other domain teams to enhance processes and support decision-making through data-driven insights

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4-year degree in Quantitative disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent experience
  • 5 plus years of experience in data visualization, Python programming and statistical analysis
  • Proven track record in developing metrics, reports, and visualizations while documenting code and adhering to best practices in data management
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or similar tools
  • Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent tools
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to present complex data insights clearly and effectively
  • Ability to learn, teach, and apply advanced reporting and analytical tools and methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience with Store Processes and domain expertise is a plus
  • Ability to mentor data analysts and help establish BI standards, architecture patterns and best practices
  • Self-driven, results-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Motivated team player who thrives in a collaborative global environment
