Virtual Sales Representative
Target Specialty ProductsVirtual Sales Representative managing customer accounts and developing new business opportunities for pest control company. Collaborating with sales manager and providing technical support to clients.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage key customer accounts and develop new business opportunities
- Coordinate sales activities with the sales manager
- Communicate order information with customers
- Partner with the Sales Manager to maintain quotes and bids and provide technical support to customers
- Create new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, leads, referrals and consultative selling
- Build and maintain relationships with companies to keep current sales and to grow sales
- Build partnerships and collaborate effectively with external accounts to maximize growth opportunities and ensure the delivery of outstanding service solutions
- Communicate company promotions, programs, and pricing within the assigned geography
- Communicate back orders from start to finish within one day of receipt
- Correspond with management for order inquiries, inventory levels, and back orders
- Provide feedback from customers to identify areas of improvement
- Work with key representatives to keep current on technical product updates and market programs, and provide technical support and product information to clients
- Participate in sales/product training and company meetings
- Represent the company at industry trade shows as requested
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associates Degree or Technical Degree
- 1+ years of experience in the pest control industry
- Proficient computer skills: Google Suite and Microsoft Excel experience
- Must possess good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Outgoing, energetic and persistent
- Relationship, consultative selling skills
- Trustworthy and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Comfortable speaking with and presenting to individuals and small groups
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
